Ari Tahan is a UK-based artist whose timeless sound and rich vocals are a soulful expression of the pain and pleasures of life. Her songs are a reflection of her inner feelings, and the message in her music reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles.

 

Inspired by powerful voices like Adele, Alicia Keys, and Joss Stone, Ari Tahan strives to express raw honesty in her songs. Her music is part of the enchanting pop genre that includes other emotionally charged artists such as Ella Eyre, Fletcher, Freya Ridings, and GRACEY. Ari uses cinematic lyrics and mesmerizing melodies to reveal her soul’s truth.

 

As part of her early career development, Ari Tahan fostered a mentorship with respected singer-songwriter, Judie Tzuke, who co-wrote her upcoming debut EP. In 2019, Ari Tahan performed at Tobacco Docks for the “BBC Introducing Live” event, and also performed for a BBC Introducing “Live Lounge” session. She’s received radio play on Brooklands radio, Overview Radio’s 3 worldwide stations, and BBC Introducing Radio, where all of her songs were chosen as 'Track of the Week' on BBC Radio Surrey. She was also chosen as 'Featured Artist' of the Week twice on BBC Introducing Radio.

Her single ’Lights Down’ gained sync success on ITV’s Reality TV Show ’Love Island’ which resulted into getting over 1000 shazam's and over 20k streams on spotify from the first viewing.

 

After her most recent release ’Pull Me Down’ being chosen as ’Track of the Day’ on BBC Radio Sussex, and an invite to perform at BBC Introducing Live Lounge for the second time, Ari is off to a great start for 2023.
